Dog Park Nearing Completion

Dogs Playing

Thanks to the Irons generous donation of property and a grant from Wyoming Community Gas, the Marge Irons Memorial Dog Park is nearing completion. The park will provide a safe off-leash area for dogs to play.

So far the retaining walls and irrigation have been completed and the pathways and fencing are nearly complete.  Public Works will be refinishing park pieces no longer needed in other parks around town to install this spring.  Public Works has also built a covered bench and refurbished other benches for the park.

Still needed are doggy pot stations, signage, park rules, more benches, trash receptacles, agility pieces, and water tanks.

If you would like to help, the City welcomes any donations towards the dog park.  Please contact Brandon at Public Works at 358-9750 to find out how you can help.
