Mayor Jones and his twin brother were born in Douglas, Wyoming unexpectedly. The day the Mayor was born, his mother was visiting his grandmother in Glendo from Lander and went into labor (on Labor Day weekend) and had to make a fast trip to the larger town of Douglas. Coincidentally, the Mayor of Douglas a the time, Dr. William Hinrichs, delivered the future Mayor. He grew up in Basin, Wyoming, and then went into the Army. After retiring from the Army, he went back to college and received a BS in Computer Science, and then moved back to Douglas in 2004. He has been married to Cathy Feezer-Jones for the last 11 wonderful years and they have 6 children and 5 grandchildren between them. He has worked for Memorial Hospital of Converse County as an IT Tech for the last 11 years. Mayor Jones enjoys serving as Mayor for the best City in the State of Wyoming and plans to continue to serve the citizens of Douglas in the best way he can. Our Mayor is very involved in the Wyoming Association of Municipalities and has served as an Executive Board member for the organization for several years. Mayor Jones works tirelessly for the City of Douglas and the promotion of our community and state, and we are very fortunate to have someone so passionate about his community and his elected position on our team!
